Job Summary
This hands-on role includes leading robust client and intercompany departmental interaction, strategic project identification, developing highly collaborative relationships internally and externally, and ensuring high levels of customer service, championing the ONE EDA mindset.
Job Responsibilities
Materials Management
• Promptly update Project Management upon the arrival of materials
• Organize job materials into designated sections
• Send biweekly updates to Project Managers on material status in the shop
Facilities
• Obtain quotes from vendors
• Schedule repairs, track progress, and update the team
• Manage inbound facility requests
• Purchase parts and materials for repairs
Shop Returns
• Direct drivers to designated return areas
• Sort, count, label, and date returned materials
• Notify Project Managers of returned materials
• Label materials being held for future use
• Process returns of eligible items
• Handle excess or unused inventory
Shop Inventory
• Purchase inventory, consumables, safety supplies, parts and equipment
• Procure requested items for field teams and ensure delivery to the job site
• Ensure all associated costs are properly tracked and charged
• Stage inventory for next-day delivery
Operations Support
• Assist drivers as needed
• Drive when required
• Help load and unload trucks
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and best practices
• Experience with fleet and equipment management (roofing, masonry, carpentry)
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment and trucking operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure with a sense of urgency
