Today we speak with Mason Foreman, Aldo Cianciulli.

Is there a job site you’ve worked on that stands out to you? Why?

A job site that stands out to me is the Masonic Temple in Center City Philadelphia because it was the biggest job I have ever done. It took me three years to complete with a 62-person crew.

What’s one thing that helps a job site run smoothly?

Communication is key to running a smooth job site.

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about your job?

People would be surprised that the job is more hands-on than you might think. I work with my tools and run the job.

What’s your go-to sandwich or lunch order?

I enjoy my wife’s homemade lunches that she makes for me. Every day is something different.

What motivates you on the job?

To get the job done as efficiently as I can and to be proud of the project I completed.

What’s one tool you couldn’t live without?

One tool I can’t live without is my late father-in-law’s hammer. Every time I use it, I think about him and everything he taught me. He was also a stone mason foreman.

Who’s someone at EDA who makes your day better?

I’ve only been with EDA a short time, but everyone on the team has been very welcoming and supportive, which makes my day better.

What’s one musical artist or podcast you couldn’t live without?

My favorite musical artist is Andrea Bocelli.

What does Successful Together look like on a job site?

Communication and cooperation, but above all, patience.

If you weren’t in construction, what would you be doing?

I always wanted to be a police officer in my hometown of Montella, Italy.

Ready to begin your next project?
