National Worship of Tools Day 2026
3.11.2026
March 11th is National Worship of Tools Day, a day dedicated to showing appreciation to the unsung heroes of construction, the tools!

Today is National Worship of Tools Day, a day dedicated to appreciating the tools that help people build, repair, and create. Whether it’s a hammer, wrench, drill, or specialized piece of equipment, tools play a critical role in everyday life, and they are especially essential in the construction industry.
In construction, having the right tools makes all the difference. They help teams work safely, efficiently, and with precision, transforming drawings and ideas into completed structures. From basic hand tools to highly specialized installation equipment, every project relies on craftsmanship and preparation that begin long before work starts on-site.
To mark the occasion, Steve Zinelli, an EDA Driver, shared a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most important steps before a project begins: loading a gangbox with the tools needed for the jobsite. In this case, Steve was preparing tools for EDA’s Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory project, ensuring the field team had exactly what they needed to get the job done right.
It’s a small but essential part of the process that helps keep projects running smoothly and safely from day one.
