Ashwin Balwaik joined EDA in 2025 as a project manager, bringing with him more than a decade of experience in the construction industry. He began his career in 2015 after earning a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and later pursued a master’s degree in construction engineering and management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Before joining EDA, Ashwin served as a project manager at a general contracting firm, where he successfully led various projects with a strong emphasis on quality control, scheduling, and cross-functional team coordination for public and commercial projects.

Ashwin is a driven project manager committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence. He focuses on enhancing project performance through structured planning, organized execution, and proactive problem-solving. His dedication to raising standards—paired with adaptability—makes him a dependable and forward-thinking contributor to both field operations and project teams.

Outside his professional endeavors, Ashwin enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, swimming, attending concerts, and exploring new places. His curiosity and enthusiasm for new experiences reflect the same drive and energy he brings to his work at EDA.

Austin Deaver holds a degree in public safety and emergency management. He previously served as co-director of disaster services for The Salvation Army's Eastern Territory, where he gained significant experience in emergency response and safety operations. Most recently, Austin led safety initiatives as the head of safety for one of Amazon's distribution centers, focusing on ensuring that everyone returns home better than they arrived.

Outside of his professional life, Austin enjoys golfing, exploring new breweries, and spending quality time with his wife and their dog. He is deeply passionate about safety and emergency management, striving to create environments where well-being is the top priority.

Bharat Tadavarthy joined EDA in 2023 as an estimator in the roofing & waterproofing division. He is a meticulous roofing estimator with a passion for delivering accurate and reliable estimates.

He brings extensive knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and industry standards, along with a thorough and analytical approach to every project. With a track record of efficiency and professionalism, he provides precise assessments that empower clients to make informed decisions.

Bill Tolbert began his construction career as a draftsman, where he developed a strong desire to learn more about how structures are built. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the process, he held every position in the glazing industry, including fabrication and installation, allowing him to experience every step firsthand.

When he's not working, Bill enjoys playing golf, shooting darts, and riding his Harley.

Brad Gilmore joined EDA in 2025 and brings more than 30 years of experience in exterior systems, including roofing, siding, waterproofing, copper, and slate, spanning both construction and manufacturing estimating. His portfolio includes projects ranging from small canopies to entire manufacturing facilities and stadiums. Brad’s expertise in construction processes and installation requirements, combined with his estimating knowledge, makes him a valuable asset to the team.

Brad Winstead joined EDA as a drafting and BIM manager in July 2026. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating the shop drawing process and supporting collaboration across project teams.

Brad began his career as a CADD Technician and brings more than 20 years of experience in the window and metal panel industry. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of roles that have strengthened his technical knowledge and understanding of the project delivery process. Brad approaches each day with a positive attitude and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.

Outside of work, Brad enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors and attending live concerts.

Brandon Cannarella began his career as a commercial diver before transitioning into the roofing industry eight years ago. Since then, he has progressed from installation to project management and joined EDA as an estimator in 2026.

Throughout his career, Brandon has worked on and managed a wide range of remodeling and construction projects. His experience includes residential roofing, siding, windows, and doors, as well as commercial roofing projects for factories, businesses, hospitals, and zoos.

Outside of work, Brandon is a devoted father to his son. He is known for his strong work ethic, sense of humor, and willingness to take on new challenges and connect with new people.

Brendan Mannix joined EDA in 2019 as vice president of finance and IT.

Previously, Brendan worked for Aramark for seven years with his last position as regional finance director for the global food service provider. In this role, he oversaw the east region’s finance and accounting for the roughly $200 million portfolio of business.

Brendan earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from Villanova University and an MBA in corporate finance from Walden University.

Bret Roberts is the communications manager at EDA Contractors. In this role, Bret develops and implements communication strategies, oversees EDA’s public relations and social media presence, and manages EDA’s internal and external communication channels.

Bret graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design communications. He also holds an associate’s degree in multimedia design from Bucks County Community College.

Brianna Horocofsky joined EDA Contractors as an assistant shop supervisor in 2026. Before joining EDA, she worked as a traveling technician in the live events and production industry, operating audiovisual equipment and pyrotechnics at events across the country. Through this experience, she developed a strong foundation in technical operations, on-site execution, and working in fast-paced environments.

Brianna later advanced into an operations manager role, where she oversaw daily operations, coordinated crews and resources, and helped ensure the successful execution of live event projects. Known for her proactive approach and adaptability, she enjoys solving complex challenges and is excited to continue expanding her skills as part of the EDA team.

Outside of work, Brianna enjoys playing video games, staying active, and traveling. She especially loves searching for the best ramen in every city she visits.

Brian O’Keefe joined EDA Contractors as a senior project manager in August 2024, arriving with more than 16 years of commercial building facade experience. Brian has spent his career specializing in the technical execution of building facades for some of the world’s leading architectural projects, featuring design firms such as Zaha Hadid Architects, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Kohn Pedersen Fox, and Pei Cobb Freed. Possessing strong technical knowledge, drafting and modeling ability, and hands-on construction experience, Brian uniquely fills the often overlooked transition from design concept to onsite execution. Process-oriented and organized, Brian thrives in his attentiveness towards his project team members by thoughtfully considering their ideas, needs, and opinions throughout construction to guarantee a smooth execution and quality project.

Brian is a graduate of Temple University where he studied architecture.
