Ed DeAngelis founded EDA Contractors, Inc. in 1999 following 11 years at Belcher Roofing Corporation. After graduating college, DeAngelis started his career as an entry level Estimator but moved quickly through the ranks to Chief Estimator before his departure in 1999. During his tenure, he became responsible for 75% of the sales volume for this firm. DeAngelis’s innovative personality has allowed EDA to become a leader in its industry. Under this tutelage, EDA started exclusively as a roofing contractor but has grown to include all scopes on the exterior envelope. Always looking for another challenge and provide value to his customers, DeAngelis started a masonry division and purchased Bregenzer Brothers, a historical restoration slate and copper roofing company in 2018.

DeAngelis is a Board Member of the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA) and a Board Member and Trustee of the Roofing Contractors Association (RCA). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Saint Joseph’s University.

Emmanuel Casucci joined EDA Contractors in 2025, bringing 15 years of construction experience, including a decade as a Superintendent in the New York area. He has a strong background in roofing and has managed high-profile projects such as LaGuardia Airport, NYU Kimmel Pavilion, NYU Langone, JFK Airport, and SUNY New Paltz.

Erica Czerniak joined EDA in 2007 serving in various roles including receptionist, Accounting Assistant, and Accounting Manager. In 2023, Erica was promoted to Director Finance and is responsible for overseeing Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Banking. She also oversees reporting and analysis to support EDA’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.

Ethan Nolan joined EDA Contractors in 2025 as a human resources generalist, bringing a background in corporate recruiting and a strong foundation in organizational psychology. In this role, Ethan is the first point of contact for all things related to HR, benefits, wellness activities and more.

Before joining EDA, Ethan worked in corporate recruiting, partnering with teams to build strong candidate pipelines and deliver a positive experience for both hiring managers and applicants. His approach is rooted in understanding people, clear communication and aligning individual potential with organizational needs.

Evette Gross currently serves as an EDA Administrative Assistant and is the On-Call Receptionist who provides a positive impression to customers, clients, and employees. Prior to EDA, Evette worked for the Philadelphia Housing Authority for over 25 years in various roles and was Vice President of PHA's local union, before retiring in 2008. After retiring, she worked for the School District of Philadelphia as a School Police Officer and later as an assistant Facilitator/Trainer responsible for updating Police Directives.

Evette received a Bachelor's and an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Pierce College.

Evette has many interests outside of work. She is a strong believer in holistic health practices and remedies. She loves cooking, volunteering at church, mentoring the youth, and setting up various events at church and at family functions. Evette also enjoys traveling abroad and learning about different cultures' food, lifestyles, and government affiliation.

Fitzroy Daniels is a Senior Project Manager at EDA Contractors. Fitzroy has over 40 years of construction experience across various countries, industries, and cultures.

Gabe Shertz is the Social Media Coordinator at EDA Contractors.An emerging communications professional, Gabe specializes in creating engaging content and executing comprehensive social media campaigns to keep communities informed and inspired. Known for his authentic approach, Gabe prides himself on building meaningful connections and fostering genuine dialogue both personally and professionally.

A proud Temple University graduate, Gabe earned his B.A. in Public Relations in 2020. He looks forward to contributing his skills and enthusiasm to EDA's growing digital presence.
