Joe DePaolo joined EDA in 2021 as a superintendent. He brings nearly four decades of experience in the construction industry before briefly retiring in 2020 and returning to the field with EDA.
Joe has led work on major projects across the New York and New Jersey region, including the original JFK Main Terminal (JetBlue), the Delaware River Port Authority headquarters, and LaGuardia Airport.

Joel Walsh joined EDA in November 2023 as a panel fabrication drafter. He has extensive experience creating panel fabrication drawings and brings prior experience working with panels at a glazing contractor.

John Ransom
John Ransom is an experienced project manager who has successfully overseen cross-functional teams, coordinated with stakeholders and driven projects to completion in fast-paced environments. He brings valuable expertise in planning, scheduling and resource management, helping keep projects on track and aligned with business goals.

John Young
John Young began as an apprentice in Local 1 of BAC (PCC) out of Philadelphia, Pa., with D&A Masonry in 2000 and started running work as a foreman by 2005. In 2008, he joined Palmer, Inc. as a foreman, and in 2021, he became a superintendent with Structural Preservation Systems, working over the road in Atlanta, Ga.; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Baltimore, Md.
Since returning to Philadelphia, John has worked as an estimator and project manager with Quinn Construction, Inc. before joining EDA as a superintendent in October 2025. John has a passion for advocacy and safety, and values integrity above all else.

Joseph Vander
Joe Vander joined EDA in 2025 as a project manager after working in a variety of roles on construction projects in Philadelphia, ranging from the rehabilitation of single-family homes to the construction of new-build high-rise apartment buildings. Guided by a passion for construction passed down from his father, he is a Drexel University graduate with extensive industry experience.
In his free time, he enjoys skateboarding with friends and spending quality time with his fiancée and their Russian Blue cat, Sylvester.

Joshua Freeman
Josh Freeman joined EDA with over 15 years of experience in metal wall panel estimating. He began his career at CENTRIA in 2009 as an estimator and progressed to the role of senior estimator and team lead. Before CENTRIA, Josh worked as a material estimator at Toll Brothers in Morrisville, PA.

Julianne Mundy joined EDA as a safety specialist in 2023, a role in which she is responsible for overseeing different job sites and ensuring that all employees are working safely and efficiently. Her top priority is making sure everyone returns home the same way they came to work.
Julianne earned a bachelor's degree in disaster preparedness and emergency management from Rowan University. She then went on to earn a master’s in emergency management from John Jay College.
Outside of her professional career, Julianne enjoys cooking, singing, and going to the beach regardless of the weather.

Karissa Czepiga joined EDA in 2019 as the administrative coordinator of culture and quickly ascended to the role of culture coordinator. In this capacity, she spearheads all employee engagement initiatives, ensuring that every member of EDA feels empowered, supported, and genuinely looks forward to their work every day. Karissa collaborates closely with both our field and office teams, seamlessly integrating EDA's distinctive culture into their daily operations.
Prior to joining EDA, Karissa accrued over a decade of experience in higher education. Armed with a master's degree in organizational leadership, she boasts more than 18 years of expertise in operational management, event logistics and execution, fostering collaboration across constituencies, and enhancing employee training and retention through the deliberate cultivation of a positive organizational culture.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Karissa cherishes time with her family, indulges in amateur photography, and is often found swimming or enjoying the beach.

Kaylee Czerniak
Kaylee Czerniak is a student at Bucks County Technical High School, where she is studying multimedia, digital design and programming. As the first EDA Duckling, she is excited to begin her internship at EDA and gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment.
Outside of school and work, Kaylee enjoys spending time with friends, reading and ice skating.

Kelly Wister
Kelly Wister is the accounts payable coordinator at EDA. Her professional experience includes aspects of accounting, inventory control, and production management. Prior to EDA, Kelly worked as a senior executive assistant for many years.
